Welcome 2024 ....

Happy New Year to you all and thank you for your continued support during 2023.  We look forward to seeing you all throughout the year ahead.  We are open today (New Years Day) for drinks and food (last food order 5pm) so after that New Years Day walk please either drop in or give us a call for a table. 

We will then be closed on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th January whilst we prepare for the year ahead. (Phones will not be answered but emails and facebook messages will be responded to).

Just a taste of what's in store for 2024 ....

New menus for the New Year - The Chefs are busy creating new menus for 2024 so watch out for some exciting changes but don't worry the traditional classics will still be there ! The website has the current menus and will be updated as soon as the new menus are ready.

New opening times for 2024 - After a few challenging years we have now returned to opening 7 days a week with our ever so popular carvery returning to Monday Evenings.

Breakfast - Start your day with a Middle House breakfast. Served Wednesday - Sunday 9am-11am in the modern brasserie with stunning views across the valley and an outside terrace for dining in the warmer months !

Afternoon Teas - Widely proclaimed by those who have sampled our Teas as ' One of the best in Sussex'. Served Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays they are a must to try.  Vouchers are available as they make the perfect gift. 

Monday Night is Carvery Night - If you haven't tried The Middle House Carvery then make this your New Years Resolution ! Every Monday from 5.45pm. Reservations strongly advised.

Live music on the Terrace - We very much look forward to the drier, warmer months when we will be restarting our very successful live music evenings, held on as many Thursday evenings as The Great British weather allows !! We hope to have artists booked in the next few weeks so keep your eyes out for more information.
